This legendary band heavily influenced the alternative rock genre of music and practically created grunge in the 80’s.Their album, Superunknown, debuted as number one in 1984 on the Billboard charts. Two Grammy-award winning songs, “Black Hole Sun” and “Spoonman”, premiered on the album. Superunknown has sold an estimated 10.5 copies in the United States alone, and 22.5 worldwide.
